Friend of WIFT Vic

Friends of WIFT VIC membership is available to male colleagues, friends and allies. This membership renews after 12 months.

Friends of WIFT Vic membership holders receive access to all benefits excluding a vote at the AGM and the members Facebook group.

Student Membership

Student membership is available to women and gender diverse students in screen and multimedia studies 18 years or older.

Student membership holders have access to all membership benefits. To be eligible a valid student email address must be used on sign up.

Regional Membership

$45

Full Regional Membership is available to women and gender diverse practitioners working in the screen and multimedia industry within regional Victoria. This membership renews after 12 months.

Full Regional Membership holders have access to all membership benefits.

  • WIFT Vic Membership is open to anyone who supports our mission of gender equity in the screen industry - regardless of gender.

    Our core memberships are designed for women and gender-diverse screen practitioners.

    For men and other allies, we recommend out Friends of WIFT Vic membership. This provides access to our key benefits.

  • WIFT Vic is the Victorian chapter of Women in Film and Television, focusing on supporting screen professionals across Victoria with local events, advocacy, and programs.

    WIFT Australia is a distinct, national body representing members across all states and territories, excluding Victoria. 

    While we share similar goals around gender equity and industry support, each organisation operates independently with its own membership, governance, and initiatives. Y
